Highlights

The
Tourism Sector is urged to participate in the second Tourism Industry Survey of
South Africa: COVID-19 which closes on Thursday, 25 June 2020.

This
survey is a collaboration between the Department of Tourism, the Tourism
Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and all its member associations and
the International Finance Corporation (IFC): World Bank to quantify the extent
of the impact of COVID-19, how effective the support has been, and what kind of

Internships and Bursaries

The Department of Tourism would like to thank all who applied for our 2020 bursary and 2020-2021 internship programmes. Applications for both are now closed and all successful candidates were informed. An announcement for the 2021 academic year bursaries will be made at the end of 2020, while new internships will be advertised in the second part of 2021.
